About the Workshop:
A hip and edgy Near
Eastern Contemporary Choreography will be taught for three weeks using music
from Chebi Sabbah's "La Ghriba." New movement vocabulary will be explored
stressing line design and technique, creative floor patterns, and using
diagonals and transitions to create drama and character in the dance. This
choreography will focus on bringing out the dancer's personality, sensuality and
ability to entertain an audience at any venue as well as getting the most out of
a choreography that can be also used for combinations as well.
