The Dalia Carella Dance Collective
Artistic Director: Dalia Carella – An ethnic, contemporary, fusion dance theater company
inspired by ancient dance from the Near East and North Africa, as well as that of Spain,
India, and Latin America, with jazz, ballet, contemporary movement and theater. The
Collective’s global fusion works blend ancient and traditional movements with contemporary
and expressionistic dance vocabulary and, most recently, cabaret theater dance, which
transcends labels. Guest artists and choreographers are invited to the Collective to
showcase their works as well as perform its repertory.
