movements from Turkey, Spain, India and North Africa. Besides beautiful
skirt and hand movement, many mudras (hand gestures) are used from
tribal
cultures to create a unique, expressive form.

skirtwork are blended delicately together to accentuate the Moorish feeling

A contemporary dance inspired by Ruth St. Denis. The dancer/sari seller
tries to sell a beautiful sari in a marketplace but becomes so attached to
the Sari that she cannot sell it. The Sari takes on a new life of movement.
