Lesson III - This lesson is a continuation of the choreography that Dalia Carella taught in both Lesson 1 and 2.  This lesson teaches you how to dance to a taxsim (clarinet solo with rhythm) using both Turkish Roman and Indian Kathak hand gesturing or mudras. After the taxsim is finished, Dalia gives you some creative skirt movements to use that lead up to a fiery finale!  You can also take these movements and add it to the previous movements taught in lesson 2 or you can add these new movements to your own repertory whether it be to your Orientale Belly Dance, Tribal, Fusion or Roma (gypsy) Fusion Dance Styles.  The music is in 9/8 Turkish Karsilama rhythm.  Dancing to a taxsim is challenging and this lesson will give you different ideas and movements to use in your own improvisation or choreography. Practice this lesson often to get the roman feel while dancing to 9/8 karsilama rhythm. - Approx. 22min. - $13.95
